Music and Me

 Hello music fans.

My name is Cameron and I am a junior at Converse. I am on the men's tennis team.  I am majoring in business and German Studies.  I am excited for this class because I love to talk about music.I grew up in Mount Pleasant, SC before coming to Converse.  My family is originally from Rhode Island, but I moved away from there at five so I do not remember living there.  My immediate family consists of myself, my mom, my dad, and my older brother. We have a bunch of pets.

This is a picture of me and my brother Mitch.

I have many music genres that I like, but my favorite is rap music.  I would love to share some of that with you.  I know this genre tends to have a lot of explicit language, but I will share the clean versions. I also have been enjoying Spanish music lately, so I am sharing this too.

The first song is my go to song, the one I would put on Spotify just because I like it.  Bad Bunny song.  I like this song because it has a great beat and nice instrumentals

The second song I played that has meaning is Rihanna and Eminem's song " Love the Way you Lie". https://youtu.be/r4l-ZKNyl28?si=g6QMXL1Dg8X6FE-u.  This is the clean version.

I don't really connect with punk rock .  For whatever reason. https://youtu.be/0TX5ij8uQeo?si=zr7_yWqcfgU3M7uy

I know many people who love punk rock, it is just not what I like.

Now I will share the  first song I ever heard by  Youngboy, " Never Broke Again." just because it is the one that launched him to fame. https://youtu.be/VPAszkX9Py4?si=rCn8NGqflKaoP8iA

  1. Hi Cameron, "Love the Way you Lie" is one of my favorite early 2000's songs. It has a great beat and its very catchy. I am glad I was able to recognize a song that doesn't get played often.
